Unfortunately, you're right that youtube doesn't have very good vids for that yet. Maybe you can get your friend to make some?LeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03322843241939403885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6863871962501266497.post-19407847828572351952011-08-18T11:32:30.037-04:002011-08-18T11:32:30.037-04:00Thanks for posting the Norwegian Purl! I'm def...Thanks for posting the Norwegian Purl! I'm definitely going to try it. I must be a tight knitter because my yarn is never as loose as it is in the demo videos.

A friend is also teaching me Portuguese knitting/purling which is a little tricky, but can be pretty fast when you get the hang of it. The last time I checked there weren't any good YouTube videos of this method, but the yarn basically goes around your neck or on a pin on your collar.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04863224740840371317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6863871962501266497.post-62219103003974604892011-08-18T10:41:33.611-04:002011-08-18T10:41:33.611-04:00Thanks, I had no idea what it was actually called....Thanks, I had no idea what it was actually called. I plan to swatch and practice both, but am mostly interested in being able to keep my working yarn to the back of my work.LeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03322843241939403885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6863871962501266497.post-46426355850248132502011-08-18T10:37:15.635-04:002011-08-18T10:37:15.635-04:00That *other* version, I believe that called Combin...That *other* version, I believe that called Combination knitting. That would be right up my alley if I didn't have to remember to 'untwist' the stitches on the return row.LaBeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16211058158341436488noreply@blogger.com
